Thats some funny stuff there. Just rev it real hard and you will get the desired clearance. Such a nice looking set of headers I would hate to see a scratch much less a dent in them.

LOL stop yelling at me lol

Actually ive been looking at ls2/ls3 for months now. Yes its a better motor but its hard to pass up a ls1 for half the cost. I was just looking for your opinion in the matter. Ive never driven a 1st camaro with any lsx motor and im wondering how much of a difference there would really be

BMF I was down at the 4 wide drags this weekend in Charlotte and had a chance to talk to some vendors down there. One being the Optima battery guys. Boy do I like what they had to say. Remember when I said I didnt want my battery in the trunk due to the corrosion? Well according to them, the Optima battery doesn't need a vent so no corrosive fumes!!! I never paid attention to these batteries as I thought they wouldnt last in the market. Turns out they make a great product and will serve a good purpose for me. I think I am going the way of the reliable BMF and relocate my battery to the trunk. Thanks for the pics and the foresight.

I use to be a big fan of optima batteries and ran them in everything. I switched to AGM batteries and love them. You can go all winter without ever messing with the AGM battery and it would start right up, and with the optima it would be dead after every winter from only a few months of sitting in the cold. The AGM discharges VERY SLOWLY and if they ever break, they never leak any acid out which is perfect for in your trunk or even in your cab-car stereo competitions-. I highly recommend an AGM battery over an optima and I've used any and all the optima lines-although i do think optimas are excellent batteries. Just something for you guys to check into...

I just dug out two stinger AGM batteries yesterday that sat in the cold all winter(about 7 months in storage) and put them on the charger and the one was still at 95% and the other at 94% full. Them yellow top optima's woulda been dead or close to it.

Do you know where the AGM batteries can be purchased and maybe give me a part number of one that could power the entire car? I am unfamiliar with them as you can tell. I am open for all options.

Sure thing! AGM is Absorption Glass Mat Batteries. If you google that, it will tell you all about them and give a ton of different brands, etc. The only downfall to these batteries seems to be the cranking power is a little low so just be sure you get one with enough cranking amps, which any AGM battery made for a car will be enough. Some are made for boats etc... Stinger makes a very nice one but its a little long-part #spv70. 1050 cranking amps. Ebay sells them. They do have smaller ones but most car stereo guys use these and do group buys and resell them on car stereo forums for under half price and they're not even a year old of use yet and work just fine. The AH(amp hours) which is the true power of a battery is unreal on AGM batteries. Usually double of a Optima.

If I missed anything just give me a hollar but I sure do love them compared to the optima's.
