On the headers, with the inside weld bead. Is that raised above the gasket surface?

We've been seeing that with some of the SW LSx swap headers for 3rd gens too but the weld is raised up killing the gasket seal

I don't have a build post but I'm always thinkin I should make one. I think it'd be fun and very helpful and I think mine would also be helpful to some of you also. I love checkin out all your guys' builds and seeing the progress. I'm always so lazy about taking pics etc and seems like I'm constantly changing my mind so my build thread would probably be one big cluttered mess... Lol

I'm anxious to see how your headers fit. I like Tsnow's headers but I just don't care for the two spark plug problems. I've dealt with burning plug wires in the past and its not fun and always makes me worry. Maybe there's more clearance than I think with the new ends he put on them, but I just don't know without seeing them I guess.

SW makes some nice products, I doubt they would have a problem, Now some other ones are questionables, you should see a set of BlackJacks I had in the 80's!!!

Good looking headers, Stan. I wish that I had bought Stainless instead of plain ceramic coated. The car's barely been on the road and there's a bit of surface rust already. Oh, well.

Thanks guys, having a problem getting my lokar 4l60 dipstick to fit the opening of the trans pan, doesn't look like enough clearance to go in!kind of come in at an angle!!Other issue is hooking stainless -6 lines up to actual trans, super tight fight!my -6 90 may hit the tunnel!

You will have to go in from the bottom on the drivers side. Every set of headers I have used on the drivers side went in from the bottom. The passenger side slides right in from the top. I ended up having to remove my steering box to get it in. The spark plugs even caused some interference.
