Does the headers you bought have an oxygen sensor bung? Is it in the collector?

Yes,but it slips on and can clamp or weld

Glad I could be of some help. Your headers are killer and I love the wheels. I will prolly opt for some gunmetal or machined aluminum wheels when I get to that point but for now the ol' rallys will have to suffice.

You guys ever put steering boxes in??what's the best way,install with pitman arm on or off?what easier??

I agree with Steve. You can put it together on a bench versus laying on your back but you will have to fight holding it down while tightening it or mount it to the frame rail and tighten it laying on your back. My only suggestion is to buy pitman arm remover tool to prevent damage to the box if you ever need to take it back off.

I installed mine on the box before, but if you have a lift, it won't make much difference.

If you have the steering box out, install the header first. I did mine backwards, but was able to get the header in by raising the motor an inch.

Thanks guys,just figured I would ask !never put one on before!Went to put mine up and the coupler I bought is to thick,won't let the steering box line up with the holes!just slightly off!looks like I need a different coupler!

I'm doing the 3rd ge steering box upgrade,used the dorman 31011,it's a little thicker than ny stock coupler!I got all my info for the swap here!!

got alot done,got the new steering box mounted with new pitman arm and steering coupler.also got the headers mounted.talk about a tight fit on the drivers header to the steering box.nothing touches but its close!!

also got my computer mounted and my new wirring harness connected to most of the engine sensor!!
