Well I started the car today,starts for a few second then dies ??I'm confused what it can be? Any ideas??good news is that I have great oil pressure!

I seem to have good fuel pressure,I'm going to get a code reader and see if I have any codes pop! I don't think it's vats,S&P should have programed those out

make sure coil harnesses are plugged in correctly, you would think this was impossible to screw up but I had to learn the hard way, mine was doing the exact same thing.

Thats a start hearing the engine fire up. I am sure you will get the bugs worked out soon.

verify your ign switched is 12v.. if you used the coil wire it prob still has the resistor wire in it.. then you only get 8v and it will start and die like you describe.

I want to thank you for that tidbit as I am geting ready to wire my car. I didnt even think about the resistor wire.

Thanks matt for the advice,we wired it at fuse box under dash!my bud Jeremy who knows more about wiring took care of it for me!I doubled checked that I was getting voutage at the computer in the run position of the switch!I was getting 13 volts!I have a friend that's has HP tuner on a lap top coming over tO check it out in the next few days!I really hope it's the vats!

Woohoo!!!my car runs!!!it was the vats!!!!big thanks to my buddy Dave for bringing his laptop over with HP tuners on it!!I guess S&P forgot to turn it off!!!!I guess they used a program from a 2000 camaro

I have to take the rear tail housing back off of my trans ,it's leaking slightly!other than that need to finish filling trans up with trans fluid and check close for any leaks!!

I will record a video this weekend!got the tail housing leak fixed!I ended up using 3inch PVC for my air intake,painting it up now!
