Up and running!
Being that the car is not registered, I didn't drive it long. Idles like a dream at about 740 rpm (in gear). Drives nice, but the sucker is too loud for me (just 2 bullets installed in the pipe) so I have to do something with that.
I think the converter is a bit loose, more on that later. Only brought it up to about 4800 rpm/10-11psi and about 58% throttle - just want to make sure everything holds together before really letting it run.
I was getting what I thought was a miss-fire at 4800 or where the w/g's open, but I guess it could be just the gates opening and that's all. I never had a car with the gates vented to the atmosphere so maybe that's what I was feeling. I have the 7psi springs in the gates and the HomeDepot boost controller.

Been driving around and this thing is a BEAST when the turbo is lit.
Seems like the turbo is making positive pressure at 3800 and:
1st gear
4400 = 5psi
4500 = 7psi
4800 = 9psi
4930 = 10psi
5459 = 12psi
2nd gear
4927 = 13.92
5129 = 14.94
Seem normal? Just prelim #'s with basic tuning. I would think a t4 turbo with 83mm turbine fully divided with 2.125 pipes would spool a little faster, but I think the converter is a bit loose. But, it drives pretty good - good enough for now.
Getting some popping at times getting into boost, may need to tighten the plug gaps. I also need to keep an eye on the Home Depot boost controller to make sure boost is being controlled consistently.
All in all its a good time

PS - that popping sound I was complaining about, I think I was getting spark blow-out. I had the plugs in there at .035 for some reason. Closed them to .028 to see what happens. Need to get an air filter on there...lotta little stones around here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the air fliter I will need to be creative to get it to fit. I will be forced to run a 45* or 90* elbow and then the filter. Can't see it being too much a restriction as these BW's have a 5" flange/filter over the 4" inlet of inducer. Most turbos run a 4" filter from what I've seen.

Dyno day - Mustang on a Mustang!!! Mustang Dyno that is.
First couple pulls, dam engine was breaking-up. After remembering my water/meth debacle, I revisited that 1st. I reduced the meth injection by 33% and the thing finally pulled clean. Makes me wonder if I should of taken more out, but the car was running cleanly now.
ALL RUNS 16 PSI AND 11.5 AFR, ABOUT 9% TOTAL WATER/METH FLOW
RUN 1:
447HP-5300rpm/507TQ-3200rpm WITH 12*
RUN 2:
488HP-5300rpm/661TQ-3160rpm WITH 14*
RUN 3:
497HP-5281rpm/654TQ-3462rpm WITH 15* AT 5300
Misc info:
lbs/hr of fuel = 380 + another 9% of water/meth, IAT 93* to 100* during the pull (seems low but was 95* before the pull and climbed to 103* after the pull), DC = 58%
I would of liked to move the AFR around but the operator said it doesn't make a huge difference. Also wanted to try w/o the air filter on but he said don't bother either - (I wanted to but didn't want to fight).
Think I'll reel the timing back to 14* and call it good. 41*hp/154lbft gain from 2* of timing!!!!
But, the HP seems low and I know not to get hung up on dyno #'s. Wondering how bad my converter is b/c he had a ds1 408 on there with 10psi and it made like 600 rwhp but it was a manual trans.
Peak power was around 5300 which I think is about right for an LS6 cam. Boost was erratic on the dyno print out by my data logger shows it to be ALOT smoother. Like to make a couple of passes at the track in the next couple of weeks.
All comments welcome please on what I should/shouldn't of done and any other observations.
One thing that has me thinking is that the HP keep climbing but peak power was at 5300. Not sure what going on if its a Mustang Dyno thing, converter etc b/c you would think power would nose over at 5300, but it didn't. Guess that's a forced-induction thing???

Your dyno guy is an idiot.... AFR, timing and air filters can make a HUGE difference...
Although at 11.5 afr, you are in a good sweet/safe spot...Same thing for the timing at 14-15*.... Id leave it there. Air filter I would pull off for sure... I gained 44hp from no air filter/inlet pipe.... All depends on how restrictive your filter setup is...
All in all I think you did good, especially thru a 4l80 and converter....
FWIW, my 71' only dynoed 460 rwhp thru a T400/10" converter and heavy IRS.... Yet it traps 127 at 3600lbs..... You'll go low 10s easily at 500rwhp.

As for the low rpm peak... Did you install fresh valve springs? Even stock bone stock LS6 peaks higher then 5300... I think you should be peaking higher.... Maybe back pressure?
