Were you able to get the DC low enough to idle at 13-14 AFR with E40 on those injectors?
Here is some quick info on ethanol blends. Turns out the difference between e50 and e85's octane is diddly. So I wouldn't worry about trying to get the ethanol percentage crazy high. E50 is pretty much just as effective as E85 (octane wise anyway). Much easier on the fuel system requirements with E50 too.
Pulled this from a Delphi research paper that's been floating around the web for awhile now.
Good luck!

It is interesting to note that the blending response of RON
and MON as a function of ethanol content is highly nonlinear.
There is a substantial octane improvement between
Regular Gas (RG) and E10, and between E10 and E50. However, between E50 and E85 there is very little difference in either RON or
MON. It is well-established that properties of ethanol gasoline
blends, such as Reid vapor pressure, do have nonlinear responses.

Came across this document (see attached PDF) on the efilive forums when trying to research these injectors. Any thoughts on the document from Bosch? I doubt it'll be an issue as these things seem to be selling like hot cakes, but has anyone heard of an issue yet?

I believe that's to cover their asses in cases of liability and failure. Also nice to not have to warranty a product in anyway. I read Paradise racing has been using the 210 CNG injectors on straight methanol for many many years on their 4 cyl cars. I've tuned and used a set for about a year now on a friends car with no issues on e85. (not to say there won't be in the future)

Awesome! Thank you for showing people the limits of these parts. I've watched about every video you've put out in the last yr and you're the reason I'm non this site and also getting more and more interested in buying/building a truck.

Awesome accomplishment!
Might just need more pump? I bet your OEM rail is fine too. I still use factory LS1 dead head rail on E85 at around the same power going by trap/weight with no fuel pressure issues. I shoot for 11 flat AFR above 18lbs or so on e85 and log fuel pressure. No issues keeping up at 25lbs (do run 1/2" line though)
Did you happen to log voltage? When my fuel pressure started dropping last year it ended up being a voltage issue. Factory 100a alternator couldn't keep up with all my electronic crap. 160a aftermarket alt. fixed it.

First - congrats, Matt!
I brought this up a number of times when I was doing the FlexFuel conversion on our TBSS, and it fell on deaf ears or was met with the same ignorant rhetoric we have come to love about the internet. Diminishing returns. My understanding is that ethanol rich fuels need a clean "gasoline/additive" package to be most effective at lower percentages like E50; some pump fuels are just loaded with junk. Thanks for sharing.

i understand that e50+ is fine, having a content sensor i have seen how hard it can be to raise your average, i had like 11gallons in the tank and was worried it would struggle to come up so i drained it and filled it, since our pumps out here are not that great % wise say 68 max like today, so, again decided to drain it and fill
i totally understand the benefit of having some gasoline in there and no need to push for 98% or whatever.
i also understand i could have probably watered it down with 75$ of 116 and hopefully had enough to get me where i wanted, but i think its just at the limit of that fuel rail feed.
gotta take it apart and see whats up, might just do a rod since i have like 5 spares.
