How high can you rev?? I don't think the arp bolts are the real decider here. It will be your valvetrain and cam combo.

Stock cam drops off after 6K so there should be no reason for you to rev the motor this high anyways. Stock valve springs cant handle 7K. There is not a single reason to rev a stock LS1 above 6200. 1. It wont make power, 2. It WILL break

use your right foot on the accelerator pedal, or if under the hood, take your right or left hand and manually open the throttle using the throttle cam on the side of the TB.

With ARP rod bolts, cam, springs and pushrods you can rev to 7500 if the cam doesn't drop off at that RPM.

i revved my dead stock Ls1 to 6600 for 2+ years with no problems whatsoever. And, the theory that a Ls1 stock doesnt make power beyond 6200 is a farce(sp?). It all depends on where you drop revs when you grab the next gear. For me, i picked up mph and dropped tenths by revving the extra 400rpm.

With a large cam, Rod bolts, and good springs I would not feel to bad spinning to 7.2K if the cam makes power there. But stock components can not handle 7K+
