58.14 according to my calculations, assuming an exact 61cc chamber.

they are close to 64cc's with no milling.

This is what I got from TEA anyway..

Not to step in where JRP has already answered, but it seems you're quoting Brent out of context. I know Brent knows what he's talking about ant JRP is always spot on.

I have always seen the 5.3's as 61.37cc's.
From what I have read a quick way to figure out CC's after milling is every .06 you mill it equalls about 1 cc.
So if the head is milled .20 you divide it by .06 which equals 3.33
Now take 61.37 minus 3.33 and you have a new cc of 58.04.
Pretty close to what JRP got and I am sure he used a similar starting cc on the heads.

from the info that i've seen the stock chamber is 61 and when they are ported the chambers are opened up a bit to install the new seats for the bigger valves. ported castings i've seen chambers 62 - 63cc's.

hence why i said "assuming an exact 61cc chamber", if he his heads are ported then the chamber indeed may be bigger.

Thanks for setting me straight guys .

Brent was talking about his 5.3L ported Stage 1.5 heads being 64cc with no milling. I don't think I so much took it out of context as I was more so confused at the stock chamber volume vs ported. I have read that sticky thread several times, just wanted confirmation .

Now I know and thanks again!
