Did mine this weekend solo. Valve cover and coilpacks on the passenger side - header thru the top. Oil filter removed and casting block cut off - header thru the bottom on the driver's side. Patience and take your time!!!! Mine is an 2002, no EGR made it a tad bit easier.

Go to install university. I have the macs and love them!I have the install info on my laptop but do not know how to post it.It will take about 8 hours since i guess its your first time installing these headers. You have to remove the coil packs and valve covers,You also have to jack up the motor unless you can grind the block on the passenger side. drivers side is easy!
The install is not to bad just time consuming. You should change your plugs while doing this install, which i'm sure you've been told!I also got new manifold gaskets from the dealer,I know you can reuse the old gaskets ,but I think this is why guys have problems with bolts working loose!
