Get a threaded sensor and install it in the induction just before the throttle body.

I don't know the part number offhand, but we have them at Speed Inc. and I believe we get them from F.A.S.T.

You can use the IAT from the GMC Cyclone. It is the threaded one and I believe it's the same one that comes in the procharger kit. My local Autozone had one for under $20

You don't want to leave it unplugged. I don't think you can disable it nor do you want to. It's very important to know the actual intake temps because it plays a very important role in your ignition timing. The cooler the intake temp, the more the timing is advanced. Forget about the Ebay IAT mod. It's a joke and can only hurt you. With the IAT not reading you might get too much ignition timing and run into detination. Or worst case scenerio BOOM!

I'm sure the car will run crappy if you don't have the IAT working.

you will definately want to plug your ait in, if you have ever looked at your bin file in your pcm you will see there is a spark as well as a fuel table that use the readings from that sensor to calibrate timing and fueling based on its readings.
