Default backfire after header install

just finished my pacesetter install/ory and borla install, i go and start it up and it runs fine, then i give it some gas and i get a backfire at around 5k rpms, anyone have any idea whats causing this? i had to take the pass side spark plug wires off to get some slack so one of them wouldnt touch the header, but i am not sure if i put them back in the right order, would this be the problem?

Excess fuel is being burned after spark is shutoff. This happens alot when cats are removed. Unless it is detonating or studdering then you shouldnt worry

tuning should do it. someone back me up on this, but i believe lt1's run a tad rich from the factory. if you haven't gotten a tune yet, it'd be a good time to get one anyways

I'm not sure if they run rich from the factory but mine was always rich in stock form, after headers it popped a little till the dyno tune.
