Default Watch out all Stock Cubic inch players... Were ready

The race to the 8's is on, and were ready to take that crown. Our set-up is finally 100% and we can get to making some test passes.

New Set-up:
Nitrous Express 102mm Dual Stage Plate
Nitrous Express SAFE StandAlone Fuel system
New Heads, Intake made 455rwhp unlocked through a th400

We will do what to takes to get there, 200 in each stage....

Here is some quick pics of our work (terrible cell phone, but they'll do for now)

All done a ready to roll

Thanks for looking and I can't thank Nitrous Express, Mark Romans, and especially my Pops enough for all the hard work.

Look for some passes in the coming weeks and hopefully be breaking into that 8 second barrier. Ill keep this thread updated.

Cam

That's a very beautiful setup! Would you please share some details on that solenoid bracket(s)? I've been going nuts for the past two weeks trying to figure out how to mount my solenoids fashionably and tastefully (to me, of course), and I really like your setup!

Get it in!

If not 8s, beat the record holder from the NON f-body/vette that shouldn't be in the list in the first place. Just my opinion.

The brackets are made by Nitrous Express, they were originally designed so both solenoids would face forward like my driver's side, but the pulley got in the way on the passenger side so it needed flipping. They can set you up with this set-up if needed. Just pm them on here, they will take great care of you.

Wow, I figured you'd be around my weight range.

I removed the leather passenger seat which I weighed at 36lbs, but I replaced it with a bottle that weighs 22 when full so I'll probably end up around 2975 race weight on the jug.

Hoping that at 2975ish, new converter and a 200 shot I can break into the 5.70-5.80 range and with the 300 shot make a run for 5.60's.

Once I get it lined out in the 1/8th I'm hoping to make a gear change later on this spring/summer and take it to Rockingham and see what it does in the 1/4.

I was just messing with you though about being right behind you, I have a loooooong way's to go.

Good luck Cam. I have a stock motor sitting on a stand here that I might need to drop in my car one day. It might run good at 2700 lb race weight.
