Did those have the 2.0l Brazillian turbo motor? My mom had an 89 Turbo Grand Am... we called it the Grandammit. 2.0 turbo motor. Pretty peppy for what it was.

Peanut cam and restrictive intake killed that turd 305.

I remember when I was 16, in 86, we went to the Chevy dealer and I test drove a Yellow 85 or 86.. cant remember year IROC-Z. It was brand new. I loved it, but mom and dad balked at getting me a fast V8 car as a first car.

Lol Toyo Tqs are a joke. If you want to call them a DR you can. Hoosier Drag radials coming next. Then you can talk about real traction. Either way Hammers Hio inspired ride is slow as dick and my slow *** Cobro would punk him. Maybe needs that Magical LS6 swap to pick up some speed. Maybe Hio can ship his blessed by the pope hole saw bits to the great white north.

Wow even worse bc all he does it cry about how he couldn't hook up.. yet if he took time to actually LEARN how to drive with what he has maybe he can actually run what he is supposed to be running instead he doesn't and then comes on here acting like he has a fast car and putting down others. Your car is faster than his yet you are NA with bolt ons lol whats his excuse?

****....he has to come up with something to cry about. It never ends for him. After cybergrey drug him around I thought it would shut him up.

But his envy of ls power seems to be getting the best of cobro.

and yes as time went on the tpi cars got faster. The final 3 years they were at the top of there performance. The mustang had a weight advantage and I notice you guys don't want to compare gt's to z28/irocs. If you want to see how the that 30poo ran at similar weights then look to sn95 5.blo cars. It's not very pretty then is it.
Oh no, I addressed it, I called bullshit and posted facts to back it up. You want to take one glory run from a ringer and pretend they all magically run that. And before you go back to that same tired argument that I posted a ringer, I posted a comparison video where everything was running faster than it should.

You also don't want to take the comparison data when they tested the same cars on the same day. Different tracks, drivers, and different conditions make different runs. So you can't take one run and compare it to another, especially one 4 years prior.

I don't give a flying **** about weights, any more than the camaro guys care that the ford has a smaller motor than them. Oh, and if you want to compare the SN95 generation, get the 94-95 Cobra. They were running mid 14's@95, right around the same times as the IROC's.
