I have a similar story actually. Dad and I were on our way back from world of wheels....this was back in the late 80's. I was driving his sprint turbo and we were coming across paris mtn. I seen a 5.0 gt....so I was like yea. Look at that bad ****. Nothing beats those, of course I was young like snake and didn't know any better. So I geared down the 1.0 3cyl turbo ball of fury just for the fun of it. I got me a little jump and we raced till dad hollered about ho fast we were goin. The little 3cyl held off the 5.0 till I let out. Now I didn't let out till about 5800rpm in 5th gear so we were hauling *****. The speedo hand on that little car was rapped just about back to the 0....lmao

the was the day 5.0's became 5.slows to me.

Those were good running cars back then for 4cyl. I'll tell you another one.....a turbo sunbird. Those things could be pretty mean for the day.

The 305 is so great it should not matter what fuel setup it has. It can overcome all, and create its own dimension in which fuel works perfectly no matter what setup. It furthermore bends the space-time barrier to take on all comes of 302 variety.
