Holden SS-V ute SEMA + XClutch

XClutch turns the SS-V ute into a wild and race-ready ride for SEMA.

LS1Tech is in Las Vegas, Nevada for the always interesting SEMA show. There are a lot of remarkable builds and concepts on display, and this Holden SS-V ute was a true standout. Sure, it is slick and cool at first sight. But upon closer inspection is a remarkable performance vehicle.

To bring the thunder from Down Under, XClutch created this build with DBA, X Force, Harrop, and ROH wheels.

The SS-V got a boost of real power when XClutch installed a Harrop FDFI (front drive, front inlet) 1900 supercharger kit.

Next, they installed a nine-inch triple plate ceramic XClutch motorsport race clutch, which gives 2,000 ft-lb of torque capacity and high heat capacity. They also added a lightweight alloy pressure plate and 4140 chromoly flywheel.

An XForce exhaust was installed. This includes full stainless steel exhaust headers, Varex mufflers smartbox, slip joint design, and twin hot dog-style center resonators.

DBA brakes were added in the front and rear, and ROH wheels installed. The finished product is a ute that can conquer the track, the drag strip, or whatever it wants. And it looks so damn good doing it.

We will have exclusives more coming from SEMA, so keep checking in.
