Hybrid Tech: ’75 Camaro RS Meets Carb’d LSX

The 75 Camaro obviously didn’t come with an LS, so it counts… Even if it’s the most natural swap ever.

At the same time, the 2nd generation Camaro is getting to be a rare sight on the roads nowadays. You can’t blame them really. The first models rolled onto America’s streets way back in 1970. The vast majority have been reduced to rusting heaps over the last 30 to 40 years. That’s a shame, because they’re an attractive car when they’re in fighting shape. Being a Camaro of course, they were particularly well suited for the drag strip.

Forum member GC99TA started his thread in 2010. The car started off as a bucket. With time, though, he was able to massage it into what you see above: A nitrous breathing, carbourated, eleven-second beast.
