Back in the heyday of sports car racing, Le Mans was the ultimate in racing. Not only for the drivers that would turn up, but the cars that were showcased.

That said, the original cars that used to race at the iconic track are now in the tens of millions of dollars thus taking away the chance for most people to experience these cars.

However, there is now a company out of the UK who have decided to build replica track ready cars for the general buying public. They are called Broadley Automotive and they build awesomeness.

This is a 1969 T76 Mk3b Coupe and it is one of the most famous racing cars from that period. In reality though, this is Broadley’s newest T76 and uses an LS engine to power the superlight track monster.

Between the drop dead gorgeous good looks, the noise from the V8, and the level of performance you get for your money, this might be the best LS swap in history.

The chassis of the car is made out of an aluminum monocoque that’s aircraft grade. It also has a built in roll cage to meet modern safety standards. It’s about as close as you can get to the real thing without having to spend the GDP of a small nation. Plus, it sounds like Thor’s Hammer.
