Personally, all original, unmolested, super low mile classic cars do absolutely nothing for me. In my opinion, it’s a slap in the face to not only the car, but the guys that built the machine. Cars are meant to be driven, and fast cars are meant to be driven hard and put away wet.

It’s just how I see the world of automobiles. Do you think Horacio Pagani or Zora Arkus-Duntov thought their designs would just sit around and collect dust for all eternity? No, they designed them to be driven, and this next car hasn’t been given that opportunity.

Here we have an entirely original, never restored 1969 Chevy Corvette L88. And since new, that’s 46 years for those that can’t count including me who had to use a calculator, this Corvette has only gone 2,576 miles. That good people is just a travesty.

The L88 Corvette was only 116 cars ever built to this specification, and was the king of the block in 1969. It’s RPO L88 427 cubic inch motor made around 500 horsepower and was mated to a Muncie four-speed. With better tires, this L88 Corvette was able to run the quarter mile in just under 11 seconds. This one is now up for auction and could go for anywhere between $650,000-$750,000.

But for me, give me a regular old Stingray and a new LT1 thrown in for good measure and I’ll gladly have more fun than the new owner of this car.
