When you love cars it shouldn’t surprise you when nearly everything in your life ends up revolving around them. We all know the feeling — getting a paycheck, buying a few new parts, and then checking the tracking every day until they arrive!

It’s like Christmas when they finally arrive, and you have to bite your tongue to keep from yelling at the UPS guy for setting the package down too aggressively. That’s just how it goes. Still, there is nothing better than when the new parts go on the car and you can feel or see the difference.

LS1Tech member hrcslam is the proud owner of a 1995 Camaro Z28, and we’re sure that he too knows this feeling. His ride currently runs the quarter mile in 14.615 seconds at 96.283 miles per hour. It completes the eighth mile in 9.480 seconds at 74.313 miles per hour. Of course, this is not a stock Camaro, as one might assume!

The aviation mechanic has spent a decent chunk of time, change, and patience with this ride! The Camaro is an LT1 LE2 355 with LT headers, a T-56 that has been rebuilt and upgraded, a Ram HDx Clutch, LCA relocation brackets, an adjustable panhard bar, polyurethane suspension bushings, a cold air intake, a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, and more.

The ride is also lowered 1.25″ on Stagg shocks and Summit springs. And how much rear wheel horsepower does this beast put out? 414 rwhp!

Besides his Camaro, hrcslam also owns a 2001 Suburban that has been modified decently, though certainly not as much as this white beauty!

Go check out his garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
