RIDE ON! A 1999 Camaro Z28 Drop Top Daily Driver

LS1Tech member farmington lives in metro Detroit, owns a 1999 Camaro Z28 as his daily driver, and works as a prototype machinist for GM.

It seems fairly clear from just this that he is a die-hard fan of Chevrolet and true American muscle, and we definitely can’t blame him for that!

Today we’ll step inside his garage and take a closer look at the Camaro that lies within! After all, it is a machine that is bound to be great!

Since this ride is a daily driver, we assume that farmington has been a bit “conservative” with his build, if that’s what you’d call it.

Even so, this ride is not one to be messed with! As it sits now, the Z28 has an LS6 intake, a 224r cam, FAST 36 lb. injectors, a Flowmaster cat-back exhaist, a TCI shift kit, an SSRA air intake, a Spohn torque arm, and more!

The transmission is automatic and the ride puts out about 375 horsepower! This is definitely be an enjoyable daily to cruise around in! Who knows what he could build if it were a race car?

We have to say that it’s hard not to be jealous of farmington, at least a little bit. After all, who wouldn’t love to spend their days driving to work in a 375 horsepower beast and then arriving and getting down to business with building the cars of the future?
