In honor of the new Chevrolet Malibu being named one of the finalists for the 2016 North American Car of the Year, I thought that it would be fitting to feature a Malibu for Dyno Blast, but rather than one of the new FWD models – I found this beast from the 80s breathing fire on the rollers.

A full 9 liters of Chevy Big Block somehow got stuck in the front of this minuscule Smart Car. Why? Who knows? But we have no doubt that this thing is awesome.
