The V versions of the Cadillac ATS and CTS are designed to be badass American performance cars. They certainly look the part. The Carbon Black sport package will make that image even bolder for 2017.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is a big-numbers car. From the 640 horsepower its supercharged V8 engine produces to the amount of heads it’ll turn with its aggressive and muscular styling…to the total quantity of gears in its transmission?

It seems GM thinks its Z71-equipped trucks can be even more bad-ass. The company has moved to trademark the name “Z71 Trail Boss.”

GM is investing $12 billion in its luxury division, which will lead to eight new vehicles through 2020. Those will include a sedan smaller than the ATS and a crossover positioned below the SRX.

Cadillac has decided to lower the prices of its CTS sedans by as much as $3,000.

Now, don’t take this as any sign of things to come, but it’s definitely a good thing to hear.
