Everyone likes the ZR1 basically. It’s the fastest Corvette around with the looks to match it’s ridiculous speed. That said… It could be faster. I mean, if you have that incredibly stout LS9, why not throw some nitrous into the mix? The results speak for themselves. You’ll just have to turn up the volume to hear it […] More »
Consider this a supplemental serving of burnout Fridays. Chevy has gotten in to the spirit of celebrating two of America’s greatest traditions: Burning sweet rubber in circles, and frying sweet circles of dough. If you haven’t treated yourself to a doughnut yet, tide yourself over with this ZL1 making donuts of it’s own.
Some people just have to push the limit. Take this guy for instance. His Camaro is pushing freaking 837 ft-lbs of torque on a stock bottom end. That’s bonkers. This was a really good race. You might not imagine that’s the case considering the Gallardo has such a wide power advantage over the Corvette. Short, but sweet. Just like a good burnout video should be. It doesn’t hurt that they used a real camera with some amazing sound. It just sounds like a royally pissed off little sports car with a big engine. A loud video is a good one when it comes to this kind of things. I […] More »
Reasons why this is awesome: 1. It’s a Lexus with an LS behaving badly. 2. It does a damn good burnout. 3. This video has the best FWD burnout I’ve seen yet. Really, this is just four minutes of solid hooning. The cavalier burnout at the end is just icing on the cake.
