UPDATE: LS1-Powered Evil Buggy Driver Gets Busted
UPDATE:
Blake Wilkey, the driver of the LS1-powered VW dune buggy, has officially been put in jail, and is said to serve a 49 day sentence, following his crazy video shenanigans.
Not long ago we brought to you the news of a crazy and reckless driver of an LS1-powered VW dune buggy. Well, it seems that the California Highway Patrol wasn’t too impressed with his actions.
The driver’s identity has now been made public, and Blakey Wilkey, whom goes by the username of B357Wilkey on Instagram has been charged with 26 counts of reckless driving, conspiring to commit a crime, and engaging in exhibition of speed.
As we mentioned on our original article, we’ve all done our fair share of hooning on public roads, but it’s one thing to do a donut or a burnout, than to jump over cars, sidewalks or race down populated streets at excessive speeds.
Regardless, Wilkey seems to not give a shit, as he laughs the whole thing off on his Instagram post.
