Watch a Cadillac CTS-V Smoke a Twin-Turbo Ford Mustang

Dear Car World, if you’re unaware, don’t discount the CTS just because it has four doors and is a Cadillac. See that little V attached to the name at the end? Yeah, V stands for “really sodding fast.”

In this street race, we have a Cadillac CTS-V from Izzy Performance versus a twin-turbocharged Ford Mustang from All Out Performance. If you recognize Izzy Performance, it could be one of two things. Izzy Valenzuela and his shop have been mentioned on Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws. Unfortunately, he was charged with murder a few months back when a street race like this went terribly wrong and an onlooker was killed.

[Just as a reminder, please don’t street race. If you feel the need to go those speeds or compete, take it to the track where it’s safe and appropriate.]

But back to the video. On a wager of $3,000, it is agreed that the CTS-V would get a car length’s head start. That wasn’t a great idea for the Mustang. Watch below.
