Z06 vs. Hellcat vs. GT500
Hellcat? Check. Corvette Stingray Z06? Check. Shelby GT500? Check and done. Yes drag race fans, we’ve got the epic muscle car battle of the century to show you today.
Not only do we have the new Chevy Corvette Z06 with its mighty supercharged LT4 engine to do battle, but we also have Dodge’s new Hellcat and a last generation Ford Mustang GT500.
While it would be better if the GT500 was actually a GT350, this is still going to be an epically good battle between these three American muscle cars. My prediction is that the Z06 with its lighter weight, and better power to weight ratio will probably take it. Although that Hellcat is a beast.
Let’s watch and find out.
Suffice it to say, the Shelby is definitely out gunned. Like by a lot. But what’s interesting is just how close the other two are.
The Z06 and the Hellcat even though they’re separated by a 100 or so horsepower are really close due to the Z06’s lower weight. Although, I’m fairly certain we all win since we got to watch it!
