Default 10 second daily driver?

Is it possible for an 02 SS with cam and bolt ons to hit 10s while remaining a comfy daily driver? What about with NOS too?

Cam only and 10's while being comfy? Probably not so much. I would imagine that you would need to strip that thing out pretty good. Cam/N2O and 10's? Yes, I would say you could get away with that being pretty comfy. My old cam/converter car ran 11.6's and would go high 10's on a 100 shot. It definitely was lightened and no air, but it still was pretty comfy.

I'd say go turbo, then you could go 9's and still be comfy

On spray and a stock LS6 block (mine had it stock), stock heads, stock cam, LS6 intake whhich came stock as well and stock 10 bolt and not shooting it off the line. High 10's 23mpg and driven 80 miles a day with A/C. It was lightened though and bolt ons but definitly just like driving a stock one every day.

Of course I'm building the motor now and I've put the car on a huge *** diet so I can't wait to get it done and back to the track.

My car went 11.56 with the stock motor bolt ons stock 243's and 224/230 cam and 10.80 with a 150hp shot - full weight (3820lbs) everything working and while not my daily driver it could have been. Same car now has stock crate LS3 with 228/232 cam and FAST intake/throttle body and runs 10.85 on motor and is just as driveable (nitrous has since been removed).

I have some weight reduction, but I drive this car everyday. These are my current times from this year.

My car is fun to drive on the street and I'm running 10's. It's lightened up but certainly not gutted, stock interior and stock springs and shocks so it still rides good. Only thing that is annoying is studder bumps, the sway/drag bar end links get noisy a bit. Getting a little over 19 MPG too cruising.

Shouldn't be to hard, I have a 04 SSR that weights 5200 pounds that is a daily driver when the weather is nice and it should run 10's

You could have a comfy daily driver with a moderate sized cam and then run 10's with a 150 to 200 shot.
