Any m6 with 3.73s in the 10s? 346, NA, no spray
Im getting a TSP torquer 3 and 5.3 stage 2.5 heads and a tune. Hoping for 425+RWHP or something in that area. will a stock weight, M6 with 3.73s be able to get in the 10s? No Nos... maybe a hair under 3400 lbs without driver.
I do have Bogarts with 10" slicks and skinnys up front. so I am launching with slicks and a Moser 12 bolt...
I know with just boltons Ive ran a 1/8 mile time to equal 12.4s and that was on Nittos and 3.42s on a 10 bolt, and just LT, ORY, LM, Lid...

That seems like where Im gonna be at. Plus he is geared more agressive. so maybe I wont see 10s at all... But Im certain I will be seeing mid 11s with 3.73s.

how big is the torquer V3?
if your staying full weight, you better have the best of the best in mods to try to get 10's. you need enough RWHP to make a full weight 6 speed car trap atleast 124. And if you can get 124 mph, you need 1.4 60's and that will get your 10 seconds.
search for these people "moose", "fireball" "GS WS6" all these people ran 10's with a top notch 346 H/C . 6 speed and they were weighing 3400 - 3450lbs.

Rims and slicks I got the best of the best... Bogarts
but boltons I have SLP, pacesetters, exhuast dumped, ported my own throttlebody, rebuilt T56, aluminum flywheel, but a 12 bolt moser ( as light as I could), 25%underdrive pulley, but I have a road race suspension which the SFCS and TA add weight... I have removed the AIR and will remove airbags and maybe a few other small things, but other than that Im keeping AC and power steering and maybe ABS, because its a DD....
TV3 is
231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA..
Im hoping for 430RWHP through the 12 bolt.
how good of a 60' can I do with that RWHP, about full weight, 3.73s and slicks..

when I say best of the best, im talking premium headers like Kooks or QTP's, AFR, TFS or ETP heads, ported 90mm FAST and 90mm TB along with a monster cam like X4, MS4, TREX...something similar

Is a z06 really 300 lbs lighter?
because my F body weighed 3407 from the factory and adding weight 12 bolt, sfc, and TA... and taking some out, aluminum flywheel, lighter seat, chromemoly LCA, AIR off and less exhaust. Id say my car weights about the same right now as stock weight...
so Im planning to get it to 3350 without driver though with K member, A arms and maybe a coupldof other small things...
but from 3400 I coubt the c5 z06 is 3100 lbs.
maybe 3200lbs or so, because the c6 z06 was the lightest vette ever and it was 3100 or so.

so it makes sense for me to say Id be in the low 11s then... But still gives me hope. Oh and you are more aerodynamic, which helps your pull at high speeds more.

Yeah I see what you mean. I dont think Im getting a fast 90 manifold and 90 t/b til later and maybe Id get kooks a bit later as well, only because I want new headers, since the ceramic is wearing off my poacesetters and i have some rust, plus dents in some parts of my headers...
But Im not going to a monster cam, not just yet, but I do wanna run higher CR up to 11.1:1

a c5 z06 is 3115 empty and a Fbody is 34xxlbs empty depending what options you got
if you get the raceweight to 3350 and your making 430rwhp then you should have 10s in the bag.

Biggest cam is also not the best. It's about the right matchup of Heads and Cams. I raced a z28 (2002) with mild cam and heads, also a 4400 stall (along with bolt ons) with my car and I barely pulled him twice. 3 other times he got me. He can get out of the hole like a bat outta hell though. I'm a pretty good driver behind the wheel of my car (not incredible but I can do well enough) so it wasn't because of poor driving either. Only thing the car isn't good at is launching lol need more suspension mods.
