Default New Stall = New PB

Well it was only an 1/8th mile track. Before I have went 12.69 before at 8.24 so I know these runs would've been low 12 second passes.
Installed a TCI 3500 last week and was able to test it out Friday night.
Before TC best 1/8th was 1.96 60' 8.18@89.6 in -600 DA.
After
The DA was 550ft.
1.71 60' 7.83@88
1.70 60' 7.85@88

All of my 60's were in the 1.7x range. Tried different launch speeds so some runs were in the 7.9x range. Lifted the left front tire at :56 seconds into the video. The mustang had boltons, stalled, tires but he didn't have a tune.

Thanks. If you don't mind what was the suspension setup on your 02 SS when it ran 11.88. How much did it improve your times? And what was your 1/8th mile time? I'm certain that in better weather I can improve the 60' some.

Nice times. What tires are you using? I think you can get better times with some more track time.

My times are in sig and with mods there too. I know mine has more. I am using 26/9.50 MT Sportsman pro tires and close to full weight and I am a big dude.

Yours has more in it.

I run ET Streets. They are 27" on stock 16" TA rims. Yeah with better weather and more practice I'm sure the 60' will drop. This is my first stalled car.

Thanks. I run ET Streets. They are 27" on stock 16" TA rims. I varied the launch rpms to see what worked the best. Everything from idle to 2500. It seemed to pulled the best around 1800 or so.

Great times! Nice job on pulling your first tire that's awesome! How does that stall drive on the street?

I got a few questions...
1. What are your "free mods"?
2. Coated or uncoated ps longtubes?
3. How much timing you got it advanced from stock at wot?

Thanks. It drives great on the street. This is my first stalled car so it takes some getting used to. Friend has a Yank S3800 and he said mine was tighter then his stall.
1. Free Ram Air Mod, Descreened MAF,!EGR, !A.I.R., TB Bypass
2. I got them from a friend who used them years ago. We painted it with VHT Flameproof header paint from Advance and its holding up great.
3. Between 27-28 Degrees

Gets me excited to head to the track. I've had my 3500 and 3.73s for over a year now and haven't had a chance to run it.

I couldn't wait that long after I installed new parts. It would kill me.

I'm not certain about the STR but I think its around 2.3-2.4. The shift extensions are at 4700.

on top of that its daily driven not as much now and has 101k miles and convertible! FULL WEIGHT!
