12.2 for my girly bolt on car
OK well I have been a lurker for a while, but I think I'm doing this right. My first 12 sec pass was at Atco about a month ago. I went 12.53 @ 110 on a 1.9 60 ft. I am not the best driver in the world, and don't have much seat time. This was run with a full interior on BFG DRs. I went and got the car dynoed after that day, and the numbers were quite impressive. My car is untuned, and put down 352 RWHP and 370 RWTQ.
After that, I figured the car has more than a 12.5, so I let a friend take some passes. His best was 12.271 @ 114.01 on a 1.82 60 ft. He was riding the clutch to try to save the stock 10 bolt. I am going to order my 12 bolt tomorrow, but plan to hit Atco one last time to see what some weight reduction and no fear of breaking the rear will do before the install.

Funny how you are looking to "wake it up" lol. 12.2@114 for a full weight bolt-on fbody, and the guy was going easy to save the 10bolt?? Thats pretty amazing if you ask me. I see a lot of guys w all the same bolt-on's + a cam not doing as well. I'd say your car is not only woken up but pissed off, lol.
Is your car a stripper? Happen to know the raceweight?

Nice time for mods you have. My best time was about two weeks ago with full boltons with a 4200 Yank with full interior? A car that had a cam barely outran mine by 1/2 a car lenght. Car setup a year and a half and the more I ran it, the better it got. Good luck with your setup...

The 12.2 was run on a 1.8 60 ft, so I think there is more to be had. I have more faith in the clutch than the rear right now...

I'm with KB99WS6... I had to put a cam in before I got a 115 trap. And that was a freakish run for me.
