Supercharged 2010 Camaro vs Whipple Gt 500 An all blacked out 2010 Camaro with a supercharge sticker on its hood pulled up next to me a a light. It was a pretty spring day and we both had our windows down. I looked over and said: " nice car it looks and sounds mean . What hp does it make with a supercharge?" He smiled and said: "Thanks. It puts down 550 to the wheels. Want to race?" The road was clear so I replied: "Sure. At the light."
Keep in mind my car looks stock down to the wheels which have been widen to accept 335 DR's. It even has stock cat backs. The only clue to mods is the 3 gauge A pillar.
When the light changed the game was on. I ran it up to 110mph then shut it down . I had put a couple of buses on him. At the next light he pulled up and with a slight laugh said: "Well I guess I should have asked what hp you were making before I asked you to race." I replied with a grin : "Its got a 2.9 Whipple and puts a little over 700 hp to the ground" He laughed at said: "Nice car!" I relied : "So is yours and it sounds great." He thanked me and the light changed and we each went our way.
He was a nice guy and a good sport. I think he thought my car was stock and would be a good race for him. His car looked good but the supercharged sticker looked out of place on an all blacked out car.

I can burn them to 75 plus mph. They hook better than the stock 285s which are a joke. nitto are really a compromise between a road tire and a track tire. MTs are better but the wear way to fast. I run the Nitto 24/7
