Default Has anyone ever done this? Chevy bowtie

Painted a chevy bowtie? I am having a hard time coming up with what color bowtie i'd want on my car and I was wondering if there is any way to color the chevy bowtie?

I also don't know which color bowtie (red blue gold) would look best with my pewter car. I was thinking gold but that doesn't match my nose emblem. Wonder if that would matter too much. I'm getting charcoal grey fender stripes and I wonder if I can match that color with the bowtie. Also has anyone ever seen the LT1 red outlined bowtie on a black billet grill? Thanks!

im a little confused as to where you are painting a bowtie, like an extra one added onto the car somewhere?

I had 6litereater pull the plastic out of mine and powdercoat it satin black with my grill. I'm gonna paint the middle body color when I paint the car.

Just take it to your local powdercoater. It shouldn't cost you more than $15 for something that small, and if they're already running a load that color, they'll probably do it for free. 6LE just did mine because he was already having my grill powdercoated.

Thanks guys, Michelle and I have already been chatting in PM's. She just wants to know what to do if she changes her mind down the road and wants a different color.

My friend Jesse just painted his blue one red with spray paint and says it came out fine...
