Okay I've been looking into getting HID's for my foglights on my trans am...
Its an 01' and was curious where I can get them and exactly I will need..
I want the 8000k bulbs... I only want fogs so I dont have to have the heads popped up...
So anyone know how hard this is to install?
Also are there any problems with these?
Totally new to the HID stuff so need as much advice/insight as possible...
Thanks,
Chase

Go to ebay. Type in "Super slim HID kit" find the one offered by the seller.. "supervtec"
Once you find the page, choose the "880" bulb kit, then select 8000K temperature (this is what I have in my car). It's as easy as can be to install it, it's 100% plug and play. You take the old bulb out of the harness, then put the harness in the hid kit and connect a few other plugs, and done. It's not gonna be the brightest and best lights you've ever seen, i'll tell you that now, but it's definitely an improvement. Just don't expect to have projector-like lights.

What are the legalities of using foglights for headlights? It'd be nice not to use the headlights, but is it ticketable if the fogs are bright enough?
EDIT: Nevermind, found it. In Oklahoma a headlight must be at least 22" from the ground. Crap.

But i also just checked some New Jersey laws. headlamps can be no higher than 54" and no lower than 24". Headlamps are also required to be at the outer most point possible on any vehicle. Camaros could get away with that second part, but not trans ams.
