Default *Cyber Gray ZR1 detail* (many photos)

I got to do another ZR1 for Boardwalk Chevrolet recently and thought I'd share this one with you guys too since the new Cyber Gray is pretty popular. This one arrived in much better condition than the black one. It sold just days after I detailed it. Getting to work on this car and drive it (though very briefly) was quite an experience Anyway, here are the pics!

You mean they have a ZR1 at Boardwalk Chevrolet in Redwood City? I will have to go down and take a look at it.

Nice pics by the way!

For me, I think the carbon fiber look ruins it...I just don't like how carbon fiber looks...on anything!

A few questions...

What precautions, if any, did you have to take cleaning the wheels/tires and dressing the tires?

What did you use on the carbon parts? I know the GM bulletin said to use black wax.

Is it me or do the carbon parts have a reddish tint to them? Maybe it's the lighting because I didn't notice that at Carlisle.

EDIT: I love the wheels... GM hit it out of the park w/ their wheel designs of late. The "spider" wheels on the Z06s are awesome as are the "gumbys" on the standard car.

Yep! The black one I did is still there, but this one is sold already. Thanks

Very carefully, with only water. No chemicals. Thankfully they were not very dirty.

see last response. Dressing the tires was like any other car though. For the top, I Zainoed it. I've been detailing for a long time and I've never heard of 'black wax'. Anyway the Zaino is safe for the CF parts.

The tint on the CF was just the lighting.

No, Jay's car has the standard ZR1 wheels, not chrome.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!
