Talking NEW WHEELS ARE ON! Plus 315's! Come look!

WELL.. It's finally done. The rear of the car was off the ground for 3 days straight.. I had to stop dead in the middle of doing the BFH mod because of the horrible weather.. But I got it done this morning!

Front's are 17x9.5" and rears are 18x10.5"

I also got a new toy.. Aeroforce scan gauge

Best gauge i've ever seen.

VERY clean ride man!

Love the beefy tires.

How much did you have to pound in?

Also, let me know how you like the interceptor. Been wanting to get one of those, but my car is pretty much stock so right now itd be pointless for me lol. Down the road for sure.

Eh.. I had to pound in a decent amount. I spent an hour a few nights ago just banging and banging. And when I put the wheels on, they still rubbed a little. This morning I got an even bigger hammer and beat the damn thing like it owed me money. It's not TOO bad, just get a big mini sledge, (lol) and get pissed.

As for the interceptor.. I'll have a thread up for that alone later. I took a video showing everything. I love the damn thing, and it hasn't even been in there for 24 hours. So look for that thread.. should be about 10 minutes.

I saw two pictures on Facebook first, and assumed you were the biggest ****-tease ever.

Thank god for more pictures.

Looks nice and beefy.

I'm really not sure what 315's I'm going to go with when these wear out...

lmao. Well, I haven't even driven a mile on these, but I can definitely let you know how they do. There's a whole thread about these (Toyo Proces TQ) in the wheels section with loads of reviews. They're cheap too!

Well, I can tell you that on a wet road, I gave it half throttle and they didn't even slip at all. My BFG's did like crazy.

Brian (or Mike), do you know if you can get the gauge to read speed in Km/H?

Dumb question, but I need to learn, so.. what exactly is 'knock?' I know about the knock sensors and all.. but what is it monitoring?

Watch the video in the thread i just made, at one point I scan through ALL the options. look for a "KMH" option.. but I don't remember seeing one. Go to their website and see if they have another edition.

I believe when you get knock your getting detonation. And the amount of knock retard tells you how bad said detonation is. When you get knock the PCM retards timing to change the mixture to eliminate the knock. Hence the knock retard value on the gauge. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Brian wtf did you have to beat with the hammer? All I did with mine was mount them up and that was it. My tires barely rub...
