Here are a couple shots of the seats that will be going in the SS. You have to have one narrow *** to squeeze into these things! I sat in one of them and watch tv for about 1/2 hour and they seamed to be pretty comfy.

Those are some wild looking seats, I'd like to see some pics when you get them installed. Nice looking you have there, enjoy him while he's still small because before you know it he'll know more then you (age 12).

Its going to be a while before the seats go in. They were supposed to go in this weekend but I got the call from MTI saying my heads and cam were ready to ship and that they needed the computer for tuning, so I had to yank it and mail it off to them today. As soon as the cam and heads are done the seats will go in.

You are the serious racer! Those are awesome seats. Now I know what you are talking about.
You have me drooling over that new rear end in your site.
I don't need it,
I don't need it,
I don't need it,
I don't need it,
I don't need it,
your car is awesome.

That rear end is a stout one. the center section is supposed to hold up to 1600rwhp before she blows . Dont think I will ever have to worry about loosing it. I am liking the seats more and more every day. I am forced to walk in the guest room where they are waiting and sit in one for a bit every day. You should feel the weight on them! Its non existant, MAYBE 15lbs at most. Bad part is they wont be going in for a while. MTI called me yesterday and told me my heads and cam are ready to ship. So I had to pull my computer out of the car and overnight it to them for tuning.

the race was actually the Nevada Open Road Challenge. Its put on by the same people that do the SSCC, on the same road etc etc etc. But if you tell someone you ran the NORC they go..."what?", you tell them SSCC and they know what it is. The race was a blast had one section of road where we cruised at 163mph for 7 1/2 minutes straight . the entry fee is actually closer to 1K but its well worth it!

I like the seat itself but the head rest deal is a little to radical.......... It makes me think of something you might see in a rally car or maybe an import???
Those are going to be hell to see out off...... But I like em.

I compete in Open Road Racing events. Where in the unlikely event(pray never happens) that I come off of the road I want as much support for my head as possible. My helmet will fill most of the area where the halo is at. I wont have these in the car all of the time. Just for shows and the ORR events. If I saw these in a car on the street I would be throwing the "rice" comments myself. Once they are in the car and the cage gets in, its going to take a contortionist to get in/out of them.
