Cool

I know the basic idea how to get the needles back on correctly, except the speedo seems to be a bit floppy. How do you get that one back on accurately?

For all the needles i warmed up the car and timed it. Then took some pictures where the needles sat.

Then I installed new gauges and warmed the car back up again (hence why you need to time it cuz this time you have no needles to tell you the car is warmed up haha).

The needles I installed exactly where I took the old one off with the car running and the gauges "plugged in". But to fit the tz bezel back on, it hits the rpm and speedo needles. So I found out that once the needles are installed, you cant screw up their calibration anymore if you "unplug" the gauges. So I unplugged the gauges and from there you can move the needles around. I pushed the speedo and rpm needle up so the bezel could sit flush. Then plugged everything back in and the needles went right back to the spots they were supposed to go.

Hope that's not confusing. I'm sure you'll get it.

I can't wait to get some from 6LE and more so now that they have needles that you can do now. Those pix are sweet and actually the super man thing is cool as hell too. They look amazing tho I don't like that your miles only read 66xxx. Wish mine was still there. Oh well. Nice man!

I went with red because I was too lazy to change over the steering wheel lights and junk. I think it turned out nice too.
You guys did an awesome job. Thanks for an awesome product.

I'm thinking about some white or silver needles myself. But spent enough money for now. But I'll get them soon. And yeah man, thought a superman symbol would be a cool touch. Also I knew someone would be jealous of my mileage ha ha. But its a daily driver so it'll get up there eventually too.

I'll get some nighttime pics in a few hours once its dark!

What color needles you going to do? So excited 6LE has the needles now that just makes an already sweet overlay that much better.

Here you go, some nightime pics! Please note that I haven't changed the bulbs in the HVAC and headlight overlays yet. Ordered them today..

So here's a close up of the dummy lights. This is the only thing I wish I could change. I want them to be brighter, ESPECIALLY during the day. Anybody figure out a way to fix this? Do you just have to solder in new led's?

So these are the stock bulbs like I said so it looks dull at the moment, but notice the girl silhouette I used (like other people). Thought that was a cool touch.

No nighttime pictures of the headlight overlay as there's nothing special/custom about it.

Lemme know what you think.

Wow, that looks really good!

For the dummy lights you just need better LEDs. It was a design decision we made... We could make those areas lighter but then you would see the words, unlit, during the day... This was as light as we could go without being obvious and "busy" during the day.

$15 in LEDs and you're good to go though...

Now how do I go about installing those leds? Can't find a write up anywhere?
