Do yourself a favor. If you're going to upgrade to HID's, get projector lenses first, and secondly, stay below 6000k for bulb temperature. The days of blue headlights being cool is long gone, at least where I'm at where so many of the cars on the road have factory HID's which are colorless to white as opposed to the ricer blue look. Some people think that the blue lights are brighter, but in fact it's a illusion to your eyes. The higher temp light causes your retinas to close, which makes it seem like they are brighter, but in fact, they aren't, and you're actually getting less visible light.

Default What are the best replacement bulbs?

My fog lights are out so I'm going to go ahead and replace all my bulbs at once. I want that super clean looking light with good visibility. I wish I knew what they were called, but I don't. Factory light is just nasty in comparison. Hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about even though I can't say much. Thanks.

I have those, the Xentec slim digital ballast ones. 0 issues for over a year and a half, never failed to turn on even in subzero weather and I don't even use a relay harness. Best $80 I've spent.

Not to hijack your thread, but I thought this may be useful information to those looking into HID's. I just got mine today from DDM Tuning...and I don't know if I'm just that big of an idiot or what...but I CAN NOT follow their directions whatsoever. I have no idea what they're trying to say. Can anybody "dummy" their directions down at all?

they are easy. the the big hardness from the kit goes into the hardness that is currently attached to your bulb right now.

the other 2 wires from the ddm (blue and red go to the hid bulb).

if the light (bulb doesnt turn on) then swap the red and blue wire and it should work.

try it and let me know if you understood it or if you need more help

I think I follow you...but what about that connection on the bulb with the blue and black wires? What do they connect into? Know which one I'm talking about?

if you look at that picture I dont use those wires that go to the ballast and on the other end it has the red/black wire. instead i plug in the harness that is currently connected to your stock bulbs directly to that ballast.

you got it. those 2 connections where you have the ? i would just leave them the way they are. your lights should work just the way you have the rest of them labeled
