Show me your tinted tail lights!
I tinted my tail lights with rustoleum lens tint. They turned out darker then I was wanting. But they do look very nice. I'll rock them untill I get pulled over. Car isn't a dd. I still have to clear and buff the tails. Show me your tinted tails. I want to see how mine compare to others. This is my first try at tinting lights. Here's a pic.

Those tails look bad *** WS.666. Thats why i love blackouts b/c it gives them that smooth look all the way across. Since you went back to stock you should sell me those tails. Whatdya say?

looks good. but what are the markings on your lights? writing? on the left light, in the reverse light area. Also, you said they're darker than you wanted, how many coats did you use? you should take a look after each coat to see if you want to keep going or not. the times i've used, my goal was to BLACK it out, and i usually use around 4-5 coats
some of my various looks. whether i've had complete black outs (which i had WAY back), or red outs, i've personally never had any problems with police, so thats never been an issue
OOOOOLLD picture. first time i used VHT. results werent excellent, but it did look good.

Why black-out, when you can red-out?
did these for my brothers 95
and the t/A's tinted reverse lights

The writting is some gm dot letter. I was going to shave them off, but wasn't sure how to without having to get new lights. I might redo them. I can always shave the lights then. I painted them in my basement. The light down there sucks. So it was hard to see how dark they were. The pic is with the camera flash on btw.

i'd redo them just for the sake of removing all the lettering, it's really noticeable, and takes away from the clean look. i do that with every set i do. but if i remember correctly, mine just had a little strip of writing/numbers near the edge, not in the middle of the light like that.
