I have been looking for the center exit exhaust for a long time and have had no luck finding it. I want the two large tips that exit in the center. I know a few sponsors have the kit with 4 tips, but not 2. Where do I get this? Thanks.

You get that exhaust setup at SLP. I have the 4 tip center mount for my car. SLP only sells the 2 tip exhaust to SS owners so you will have to give them your vin # I believe.

My car is a real SS. Does this mean I can buy it from SLP, or did my car have to come with this exhaust stock to get these pieces? Thanks.

You can get that exhaust it doesn't have to come with the car stock. You got an SS so you can get it. They just want your vin # to make sure that it is an SS and then it is all yours!

I think your door list code needs to say performance center mount exhaust in order to get one. who knows?

Last I've heard, you can only get it if your SS is a 2001 or 2002, regardless if it came with the CME. Cost, you must buy the entire system for ~$1000 (IIRC). Although I have heard of people (with '01-'02 CMEs) buying just the parts, which is more like $300. Best bet, buy it from someone that doesn't want it any more. I bought mine used from a guy that had a 4" Mufflex installed (won't work with CME) and it was the same color as my car (black).
