Finally getting my VFN 3'' SS hood
Well i got me the VFN 3'' SS hood for my Z28 Camaro. That damn hood took 6 weeks for me just to get it. It felt like forever. Then to top it off, VFN told me to put in on my car and leave it in the sun for a month in order for the gelcoat to cure on to it. Well here i am 2 months and 14 days later from the day i called and placed the order and finally dropped the car off at Lupe's Super Body shop here in Odessa, Tx. I told them to take their time so the hood will come out good. All i gotta do now is wait and see the outcome. Im gonna post pics of the car with the hood black and a couple of pics before the hood just for the mean time. But once i get the car back i will post pics of the hood painted on my car. Wish me luck guys, hope it looks good once its painted.

Thanks man, I told the body shop that i might want to consider them painting my side mirrors as well. I would like them white to match the rest of the car. If im not mistaken, 98's and 99's came with black mirrors and 2000's and up came with body matching colors. Besides the point, yall think white mirrors would look good to complement the hood once its painted ? The hood is gonna be completely white.

It took 9 weeks to get my ws9 outlaw hood from VFN. It needed alot of work to line it up,even had to grind the the hinges to move it forward enough. It also is a lil smaller then my factory hood causing bigger gaps between the hood and front fenders. Over all it looks great painted, but for the work and wait,i would not buy from them again. Your hood seems to line up nice and it looks good.
