Question Anyone know what kind these fogs are?

They came on my 01 formula when i bought it. I hit a puddle last year from a hydrant flushing and it blew out the passenger side bulb. After taking one of them out and seeing the N" rigging going on with the wire, i pulled the other side out to repair the work done. They seem to have a stainless steel fog bracket that fit right in place. The actual light bulb came out by unscrewing a screw, but still leaves no information if i can get a replacement bulb for this thing. The lens is glass and the housing is steel or alum type.
a few markings on the lens says
E4 04.HR 896 17.5 SAE-R-Y97
E4 19015 o2 e4 etc etc.

There pretty bright bulbs, id love to keep them if i can.. thanks again!!

Those are pretty decent housings. Lights stick out a little too far. The bulbs are H3. If you want to go HID, you need to use H3C type bulbs or switch back to stock housings and 35w 880 HIDs.

Yes they look to be H3 bulbs. But PLEASE don't put HID in those.

Yup. If you never use them around other drivers then HIDs are fine.

hmm. ill have to look into it. Right now to get the same pair of bulbs will be around 60bucks. I think DDM sells kits for like 33 or something? Will i need to then pick up a harness?? Sorry i dont want to make this into another "fog hid thread" but just trying to grab some answers and the best outcome in the end. I appreciate all the help.

DDM doesn't sell H3C HID kits. You'd need to find one on eBay. $60 for a set of H3 bulbs sounds steep. 35W bulbs are the max the stock wiring harness should be used for. Are the ones for $60 55W? Seems REALLY pricey for plain 'ole H3 bulbs.

Yes the major light scatter. Just ask around a bit, anyone who knows me much on here will tell you I'm very much against HID in anything but proper projectors

I'm in central Ohio, Columbus area.

I wasn't against Hids in halogen housings.

Until I purchased everything and installed it.

Will be doing a projector retrofit soon.

My car is driven less than 5hrs per week, still wish I would have done it correctly.

The gps aren't so bad. I can drive at night with them and not get flashed at all. The lows are stupid.

Having the fogs as bright as possible to compensate for bad low beams is NOT the answer. The proper solution is to get better low beams! Do a search for the LMC "truck" headlamp lens conversion. You could run the regular halogen bulbs. They look way better than stock.
