Its not to bad. Just a light mist that kind of hit the whole car. We got most of it off with some elbow grease and a sponge, but there are little dots of yellow on almost every part of the car. You cant really see them till you get up close. I figured a good buffing would get them off, but I was wondering if there was a product we could use until we can get it detailed.

I recently picked up a 300C and the previous owner added his own personal touch to the seats by way of paint or dye. It's pretty worn and has rubbed across the seat back. What should I use to remove?

This is an amazing, incredibly long thread, all the info is much appreciated.
Ive learned that i havent taken car of my car even close to correctly.
Ive searched this thread and read through a lot of posts. i didnt see it directly addressed, if I missed it my apologies.
For black powder coated rims from oewheels, is sonax full effect the safest, best product for cleaning them?
Thanks

Just wanted to give thanks and a shout out to Jeff, Jay, Junkman, and everyone who filled up this thread with so much information. I started from page 1 and just got to the end, spent about 3 weeks reading it during downtime at work.
Now I need to go back to the beginning and take down even more notes. You really could make a detailing encyclopedia out of all the info in this thread, it's awesome!
I had fun learning how to detail last year with my PC and 105/205, can't wait to bust them out again in the spring with more of the right products and know-how. My F150 needs some love, and the Z28 could use some more polishing.
Oh yeah, I have an update to add. I had asked a question about a year ago about having a problem with stink bugs and wanting to clean out the ducting in my car. Jeff suggested looking into an ozone generator. I couldn't find anywhere around here to rent one, so I ended up trying ozium. I knew it wouldn't be like a real ozone generator, but after a treatment or two of the ozium, I haven't seen the bugs back in my car since May.

Hey guys. M105 has been discussed before and how it can dust. "Priming the pad" has been covered and mentioned but sometimes it can be difficult to know what it's suppose to look like. Here's good thread with some pictures at the beginning showing exactly what a properly primed pad is supposed to look like. Priming a pad this way is for non diminishing abrasives such as M100, M101, M105 and M205. Using diminishing abrasives such Menzerna or Adam's products are different.

Priming the pad properly greatly reduces dusting and dramatically increases performance and pad life. I too started out with putting just an X or three dots on the pad using M105 and it just doesn't work. I've been using the Kevin Brown Method or "KBM" for over a year now and have had fantastic results with it.
Here is another good read where Kevin describes his method. The first part of the thread is good then a couple people get into a pissing match and ruins the thread.

I hope this helps some people out.

I have used them, and wasn't very impressed to be completely honest. I find the Menzerna and Meguiars compound and polish lineups to be some of the best in the world frankly. IIRC, Jeff has similar thoughts - but you'll have to double check with him on that.

As for the rest of Adams products, they're some of the easiest products to work with and produce awesome results, IMO.

Adam has taken a lot of guess work and fear out of paint correction. I agree that it's not geared towards heavy correction, someone wanting to do it professionally or as a side job.
With everything being color coded it takes a lot of the guess work out of it. I year or so ago I was going to order his PC kit but then I found this thread. I'm a little more serious than most about paint correction so I held off buying anything for a while till I learned some.
