I might have posted it in my build thread. I think it was about .05 deep x .08-.100 off the end. Used a black sharpie to blacken the raw alum, looks great fitting inside the stock plastic so you can't see inside at all.

That's not going to work on mine, the plastic on the steering column looks slightly warped and offset, so the momo adapter won't fit within it.

imo the wheel is way to big , i would bet anything if you drove around a car with a nice wheel you would rip the stock bus wheel out the next day

i dont like the big bulky steering wheel with the airbag but i dont think i'd care about installing a new steering wheel.

Well, I had 5/16" milled off the Momo adapter today and it fits perfectly now.

I plan to install a Flamingriver Waterfall wheel by spring. Unless the Redline thickened wheels look really good. It will be a little tricky as they do not offer an adapter for our car. I plan on buying someone elses and modifying it. I want a billet look adapter as opposed to the ones with the plastic accordion sleeve types.

They look out of place because we've become complacent with ugly steering wheels in our vehicles. Myself I've always thought the factory wheel in my 99 Camaro was out of place, and freaking ugly. So when the hoop on mine broke recently and I needed to buy a new wheel I decided to get what I wanted with my money; a nice looking Momo wheel, instead.
BTW, I don't know about you but I didn't buy my car for it's crash test rating so I have no problem ditching the factory wheel/airbag.

i dont like airbags, i just worry one day its just going to go off and blast me in the face lol, the gotham wheel is very nice looking in my brothers stang, honest just a wheel swap might look out of place to some but i have seen some done up race style int that look kiler with a aftermarket wheel, like i said take a drive with a aftermarket wheel i will bet you will never go back,

i have that same fear haha its like when the hell is this thing going to accidentally go off when im driving. i have seen a few cars with nice racing seats and aftermarket wheels look pretty sweet but i cant really picture a 35th (mine) with stock 2 tone interior and an aftermarket wheel. seems like it would be to empty. gotham wheel is my favorite i have seen just don't like the name gotham on it. people are going to think im trying to make a bat mobile or something

It's the Momo-Competition-350mm(13.78" diameter)- w/black leather-#COM35BK0B . BTW, it's just about 3/4" smaller than the factory wheel.

The shift **** is a TWM - Type R (2" dia.) - Gun Metal finish - Stainless Steel - 460 grams.
There's a lot of finish options, and you can get it with the engraved shift pattern.

That Momo Competition wheel looks great. Very clean and simple. Just a quick question though, what exactly is the problem with the fitment of the hub? I know you had 5/16" machined off but what exactly are you machining off of it? Thanks for any help, been looking to change my steering wheel for a while but haven't had much luck with researching the hubs. Seems like some people get the Momo hub to fit without modification and others have to have it modified/machined. Thanks!!!
