Default Some Plasti-Dip Action-

Always debated on having my roof/sail panels painted black.

Multiple Photoshop renderings later, and I finally decided to try it out for real... sorta.

Picked up a few cans of Plasti-Dip last week, and did the roof. It could use some touch-ups, but weather has been crappy lately, so it'll have to wait.

That was last week, decided I wanted to do the mirrors too, and today, it randomly stopped raining and the sun peaked, so I rushed to get them off the car and sprayed.

Weather's been shitty, so only the mirrors are clean, but whatever:

Thoughts?

Looks good.. I've seen a couple others like that. I think gloss would be better though.. its kind of jarring when you go from the hatch glass to the sail panel back to smooth glass again. Just me though. Good work.

Another vote for glossy, but plasti dip is good for getting a better idea of what it will look like!

I agree. I'd really like it to be gloss as well.

Yeppers, I want glossy too, maybe one of these days. The car does need a repaint.

Just an FYI Plasti-dip has a glossifyer(SP) that you can spray over the black to make it gloss and it still peels off like normal dip.

This looks real good with the mirrors blacked out, maybe give the side script a go?
