Default BLS Projector Install *Pic Heavy Do Not Quote Pics*

Recently I purchased a set of projectors from Blackbird Lighting Solutions. They seemed to have the easiest package to install and their wiring made everything simple. I went with their high/low connector to make everything plug and play.

I bought the "Blacked-Out" version and used the supplied bulbs.
5000K HID Lamps/35W Ballasts/MH1 Bi-Xenon Projector

I somewhat hid the wiring as much as I could. I mounted the ballasts with 3m tape, and ran the relay on the front bumper support. You could play around and hide the wires as much as you'd like, but I think mine are out of sight.

The light output is night and day compared to stock. Pun intendted. You never need the high beams and the cutoff is sharp and crisp. If you have any questions or want a different picture let me know.

Everytime BLS does a group buy I miss out. If I don't buy before the next GB I will get in on it without a doubt! The install looks great and the lights too!

I have to get some of these. I think I'll stick with the whistler versions though for my car. Car looks good.

I've been waiting for someone to post these headlights on an NBM car. Looks great!

How much lighter is the shade on the smoked lenses?

Thank you.
Not sure which ones you mean. For the projectors I have the blacked out versions that are "whistlered".
For my parking lights I just hit them with a quick coat of niteshade so they wouldn't stick out next to the projectors.

I would love to see a group purchase. I would certainly love to have a pair myself, but man are they high. I know you get what you pay for though.

Im sorry I should have been more specific. I meant the headlight housings. Isn't there a blacked out and then a smoked?

Why would they black out the highbeam area? They are basically useless now...

They only do that if you want them to.

Also, the projector is bixenon so the high beam halogen bulb really isn't that useful anyway.

Awesome. That goes really well with NBM. How do you like the 5000K color? Is it white at night with a hint of blue?

We do not smoke the lenses for any of our lights. We can do it but it somewhat defeats the purpose of purchasing a quality headlight system.

We offer a group buy every few months. We will message you on the next go around to let you know.

The standard kit uses the whistler style or all chrome housings. The blackout option is for aesthetics but as you mentioned, greatly reduces output from the halogen high beam. The Bixenon projector more than makes up for it.

Ditto. Thanks!

I will let Blake speak but 80% of our customers go with 5000k. It offers a nice balance of light output and color.

I hate when people do that passive aggressive dot dot dot when they think they're being clever

The supplied 5000K is perfect. White and crisp and I hardly even see the blue, except for above the cutoff. Doesn't look ricey at all and has great light output. Even on low beam you see TONS better than with the old halogen hi beams. The high beam is unnecessary but the Bixenon HID it lets you really light things up on a back road.

Thanks BLS ^^^ for explaining, I think ya'll picked the perfect supplied temp
Notice the actual lens isn't smoked, it might have just looked dark in the pictures.
