Exclamation Which color demon eyes should i pick?

I am going to be doing a retrofit here shortly. I bought some Morimoto Mini H1 6.0 projectors and I will be painting the mini gatling gun shrouds and my headlight housings all black. It will look exactly like BLS's ''blacked out option'' here...

I am also going to take apart the projectors and paint the shields in order to get the ''demon eyes'' effect. I can't choose between which color I want to paint them though. Here are some examples of red, blue, black, and white painted shields. Keep in mind that the shrouds and housings will be blacked out. Which color would go best? Please help me out guys!

Red

White

Blue (would look like the top version)

Black

Red would look badass, just double check the laws bc I don't think red/blue is legal to drive around with unfortunately

Matching the color of your green fog lights would look great too

Red would look sick but is highly illegal! So if you want to stay off the cops radar I would do white..But if you dont care go red... I am wondering though does painting the shield effect the color of the light output?

Thanks everyone! Seems red is the winner. It is legal to have red painted shields as you can only see the red in the reflection of the lens from certain angles depending on how the light is hitting them. It is illegal to have red LEDs in the projector and having red demon eyes at night. And no, It is an appearance mod and does not affect the light output as long as you only paint the side of the shield that is facing the lens. Keep the opinions coming guys! I will be getting my projectors probably on Tuesday so there's still time for me to deside what color paint to buy!

If I had to do another set, I would do white or black, looks so much cleaner.

I will be doing a write up on the whole retrofit as well as when I paint the shields. I just checked and my projectors aren't going to be here until next Friday so it won't be up until probably Saturday. But keep the opinions and feedback coming guys! Seems Red is in the lead. I am only going to be painting the shields and not putting LEDs in the projector. I promise I will make the write up as detailed as possible with pictures of every step of the retrofit!

I have the mini gat shrouds also, you doing the halo on those? They are the sexiest shrouds when lit up.

I didn't order any halos unfortunately. But I am thinking of taking the CCFL HALOS off my eagle eye projectors. Still not sure yet but it does look like it would be awesome!

The lenses don't get painted. The lenses are left perfectly clear and untouched. The shields get painted and LEDs are added to make it glow the desired color.

I have put some thought into it, and I don't think I want to go the halo route. Although I love the way they look on my current headlights and the brightness of them is great, I just think it would throw off the whole theme of my retrofit which is all black.

I think the blacked out housing and shrouds with demon eyes will look just right. Anyone else have an opinion on which color would look best? Let me know! I plan on going to buy the paints tomorrow sense I already have the lens off the lights. I'm going to paint the housings while I am waiting on the projectors to arrive on Friday.

Ya it's real easy, all you do is take the projector apart and paint the side on the shield that faces the lens. And yes, you HAVE to use High Heat paint. I plan on getting the one that is protected up to 2000 degrees. After you paint the shield to have to bake it in the oven for the high temperature paint to cure. Then you can reassemble the projector and continue on with the retrofit.
