Agreed fully. Only a DH car can pull that off.

Showing all go, and not being able to back it up is riceish, build that car, with no performance, and I agree with firehawk..build that kit and drop in a badass motor/tranny/rearend combo = respectable.

I can actually see it now...people order the flared fenders, and don't get the wheels and tires to match. Just like every other rice rocket with a body kit on the road. Looks like ***.

Polishing a motor or offering carbon fiber isn't saying you're a Dick Harrell car.

Most people here have no ******* idea what I think! It's for the common good, but I'll never for one ******* second offer body kits. Not me.
I would hope no one would go around saying they have a Dick Harrell car, lol, they would be idiots. Its just an appearance mod. Hell what if there never was a Dick Harrel supercar and someone made this body kit out of their own ideas, would you still think it was wrong? What if they came from the factory like this, same with the Firebirds....would you have not bought one? I for one would like to see my car like this with a set of Welds or Bogarts tucked under. It would look mean as hell.

The people who buy this kit are going to be people that have done many motor mods. It is most likely going to be pricey and only hardcore F-body people will dish out the money for a kit/paintjob. As for rice being anything to make it look fast-F-bodys already are fast and this would just reinforce the idea.
I for one would MUCH rather put this kit on than an "unricey" polished alternator and carbon fiber AC vents

If you make the kits ultra-high quality and keep the price high to reflect the cost involved in making the best, I can see it being restricted to the best cars.... ones that can back up the look.

Having a somewhat attainable price will attract the people who bought a 160k mile car, securing this kit with sheet metal screws and some ghey rims... = the downward spiral for V-8 4th gens.

Luckily the majority of cheesy f-bodies are restricted to the v-6 cars.

I love the idea! However, if you're going through the trouble to make molds, why not make it a bit different than the D Harrell cars and make a "total appearance package."

I see Firehawks point and I agree to an extent. I am surprised by the negativity in the thread though.

Now this is the kind of feedback I need. If I do it..it wont be 100% like the DH cars, something has to be different, I cant totally create the same thing and be proud of it, no way. I dont know if price would stop a ricer from buying it, they tend to put alot of money into making something look bad, lol. It will not be cheap though. You would have to think about the time and money that will go into it. I sure as hell wouldnt want to see several cars in the area looking like this though, that would ruin my day. I would probably limit the amount of kits made therefore not everyone could do this even if they have the money.

I would be highly dissapointed if I saw this kit on a v6 (with no power) or a riced out car. I would be ashamed of myself for making the kit.

Well prepare to be ahamed since that would be bound to happen. Heres an idea, demand to see a picture of their car before selling the kit to them. That way all the owners will be hand picked by you, and only the worthy ones will have it. lol

I want to know who this jerk-off is.

I'm a member of 3 sites. Excuse me for showing a picture of my car! What have you done in your 40 posts and 0 trader rating to help people? You seem like a jealous little ***** to say those things when you have no idea what I stand for in the LS1 community.

You obviously don't know what kind of horsepower my engine makes eighter. You just put something worse than your foot in your mouth.

I would just like to know how anyone can talk **** about firehawks motor and the work he has done. Thats just rediculous. SpeedinT/A, If you spent half the as much time learning about these cars and motors as you did running your mouth, you might not come off as such a MORON.
