what makes a nice car??

It's the whole package.
What makes a nice car is one that isn't overdone. Less is more. If you can keep your car sophisticated in appearance, you appeal to a much wider audience. A clean car, and one that sounds good is equally as important to one that is tastefully modded in appearance. Decide on a theme and stick to it.

The things I look for are uniqueness, well thought out flowing color schemes, and everything ties together(the motor, interior, exterior, suspension, underbody). I enjoy seeing different things, I get tired of looking at the same old thing time and time again. Wheels are probably the BIGGEST factor in the appearance of the car. If the wheels are wrong, the rest won't work. You don't necessarily have to spend a lot of money to make a car look nice, but it does have to be well thought out

What makes a nice car is what it's compared to. If you've got a track car, you're going to want something that stands out. You're going to want a more wild color scheme because your car will be sitting next to a bunch of wild cars. If you're taking photos of your car vs a nice blank wall, general reflection and a smooth clean paint is most important. But this is just general advice. If you go to any customization shop, they'll tell you:
#1) Stance
#2) Wheels
then there's a huge gap to everything else, assuming your car isn't flat pink or something hideous.

In my opinion what makes a car nice is developing a theme and working towards accomplishing that theme. For instance, the theme of my car is "Modern/Retro". What I mean by that is I have customized everything from my engine bay to the interior with blends of both old and new items and materials. I have 1967 flag emblems on the fenders where the "SS" used to be. I have a carbon fiber grille with 1969 white "SS" emblems on it along with some tastefully placed 1st gen. emblems on other places of the car. Engine bay I have blended polished and billet items(retro) with some carbon fiber(modern). Interior for instance I have a white Hurst ball shift ****(retro) a top a custom painted and contoured center console(modern). Lots of other stuff going on but you get the idea. Pick a theme of direction you want to go and stick with it till it's accomplished.

A nice car is a car that perserves and reinforces its lines, has well-taken-care-of paint (detailing!), and is completely functional from bumper to bumper. Don't forget to stay consistent with your color scheme, feel in the wheel gaps, and once again, keep it detailed.

the very very basic truth is that even with no mods, a car can look really good... the basic idea is how CLEAN the car is... smooth paint lines, no chipping, no cracks, dust dirt etc... i know a guy with a black SS, no appearance mods whatsoever, but the car just looks so damn good from how clean it is, better than most modded cars
