Same thing happened to mines and I posted about it in this thread early on (post 67/page 4). Softer struts would be nice, also would like to know where to get them from.

Default Vfn Is The Best

Let me tell you why VFN is the best. Some people here my know i have been having problems with my VFN WS6 hood. For some reason, the corner on the passanger side that meets the headlight does not want to sit down. So i have been over the VFN shop about 4 times to get this situated. Armando hands down as always bring it on by, lets see what we can do to fix this. BTW pics of said corner are below. Back to the story, so yesterday i was there again, b/c the last time we were going to attempt to fix the hood, he got busy, and sent me on my way. not a big deal i live 3 miles awat from VFN. So we got together yeterday. And Armando tried everything that he could think of on the book to get this fixed. NO LUCK.. That dman corner is a stubborn biatch!!!!! So Armando said forget it, let me talk to Frank (owner) on Monday to see what we can do. Armando said dont worry we are going to make this right for you.

So basically with that being said, i will ******PROLLY****** end up getting a new hood, and Armando said that they will paint it for me too!!!

Now, you tell me that is not superior customer service. It does not get any better than that!!!

But i will keep you all informed as to what happens. Ohh and VFNs new shop holly cow is it BIG... Wait to you all see what they have in store

I have the exact same problem except it is on the driver's side. Everything else lines up very well but the body shop just could not get the one side to get down. What should I do?

my hood lines up pretty well, but you have to keep in mind that fiberglass isnt 100% perfect, as im sure all of you know. i have a few gaps that i just chalk up to it being fiberglass...ie the crazy front angles on the nose/headlight corners. plus with the car being black, they kinda hide themselves!

ok so VFNs customer service isnt the best I guess. I have emailed several times along with sending PMs through here with no avail as to what their 93-97 bolt on flat hoods are. I am wanting to know if they are just like the flat 98-02 styles.

I have found that in this industry to get the best service it's best to just pick up the phone and call them. You can get a much better answer to any question on any product (all companies, not just VFN) much faster. Most companies put a priority on phone calls, with e-mails and such coming when they are slow on the phones. Often times they get overlooked.

It is not blocked off. You can have it blocked off if you want though.
